5.2.8 Output 4

Output 4 is available as standard in all models. It is always a changeover relay and can be used for control, alarms or events.

P14

Select P14 to configure Output 4 (OP4).

Note:

In FM approved controllers 816L, 808L and 804L, Output 4 is assigned to Alarm 2 with inverted action. P14 is, therefore, read only and cannot be changed.

In other controllers P14 can be configured as follows:

The code can be checked against the label on the side of the controller.

t.End

Timer end status

OP4 can be used to operate an external device to indicate when the timer has timed out. A relay is energised and a logic output is ON when the timer has timed out.

Timer Operation is described in

section 4.11.

t.rUn

Timer run status

OP4 can be used to operate an external device to indicate when the timer is running. A relay is energised and a logic output is ON when the timer is running.
